Porter is regarded as one of 20th-century greatest composers of musical theatre, which then became the pillars of the American Songbook, with many hit shows to his credit, such as ‘Anything Goes’, ‘Kiss Me, Kate’, ‘Can-Can’, ‘Silk Stockings’ and ‘High Society’.
