The Roxy is the place where anything is possible, and where creativity is concerned, the sky is the limit! Our goal is always to deliver a memorable experience for all our guests that brings them back through the doors again.

Our diversity, layout and capability make for the perfect award ceremony venue. We can cater for large bookings to more intimate gatherings and everything in between. We take great pride in tailoring our offerings to make your event a success. 

CoCo Restaurant

Our main restaurant can seat up to 70 guests for private dining. CoCo has an elegant, yet relaxed art deco atmosphere. 

The Grand Lobby 

We also have have the ability to accommodate up to 180 guests for a more casual, standing affair with some seating in our Grand Lobby upstairs. The splendor of our Grand Lobby makes it the perfect space for both formal and informal occasions. 

Both CoCo and the Grand Lobby are set up for a chance to enhance your visual experience by theming the space with personalized projection mapping.

Cinemas 

At Roxy, we have two cinemas to choose from: 
Cinema 1 - 164 seats 
Cinema 2 - 55 seats 

As a venue that often hosts Q&A's and film intros, we have everything you need for a great speech in theatre. 

Location

As we are based in Miramar, we are in very close proximity to the airport and just a short drive from the CBD.

Food & Beverage

Our Head Chef Nic Spicer has been expertly crafting creative menus since we opened our doors. From feasting, set menus, a la carte and canape functions, we’ve got you covered.

Larger groups exceeding 20 guests are required to dine on one of our shared feasting banquet or set menus.

Our feast menus are a fun and sociable way to dine, where guests can enjoy a variety of dishes and the pleasure of dining together ‘family style’.

Our set menus consist of a variety of dishes served to the table family style, followed by an individual main and dessert. We are happy to tailor our menus to suit your dietary requirements. Please note we will need to know of any dietary requirements in advance to ensure everyone has a great time.

We have a carefully selected wine list showcasing mostly New Zealand offerings. Our bar team work closely with the kitchen and our beverage options are updated to reflect the change in the seasons and food menus. 

Our award-winning bar team is led by Ray Letoa. His innovative and creative flair has him recognized as one of New Zealand’s most recognized and respected bartenders. Ray can curate a special cocktail for your occasion to suit your tastes or theme for the event.

For larger groups we recommend pre-selecting wine and beer options for your party to ensure efficiency of service and ample stock is on hand. Reduced menus can also help your budget stretch a little further as we will charge by the bottle and not the glass.
